Airplane Rental

Twin Cities Malibu offers a Piper Malibu (PA46-310P) for dry lease. Rates vary based on your intended usage. In general, the more you fly the lower your hourly rate. Contact me for terms that work for both of us!

The airplane is currently based at Anoka County-Blaine Airport (KANE) in the Minneapolis area but can be ferried to your location (charges apply).

Do I have to be a pilot to rent your airplane?

No. The Piper Malibu makes sense for individuals, families, and small to medium sized companies needing air transportation. Many people who are not pilots, and companies without pilots, rent aircraft. You will need to hire a qualified pilot.

FAA regulations prohibit me from offering pilot services in my own aircraft. If you're looking for a full transportation solution, please contact me for a recommendation or referral to an organization that meets your needs.

I am a pilot and would like to rent your airplane. What do you require?

Insurance generally requires all pilots - from private to ATP - to complete a transition training course. The duration and cost of the course will vary based on your experience with systems such as turbocharged engines, known icing equipment, and pressurization. I can teach the course, you can go to a national provider (such as SIMCOM), or contact me for other options.
