PA46 Initial / Recurrent Training

I provide initial and recurrent training for the PA46 (Piper Malibu, Piper Mirage, Piper Matrix, Piper Meridian, M350, and M500) line of aircraft. This course teaches the best operating practices (OPs) developed by the M-Class Owners and Pilots Association (MMOPA) Safety Committee. In addition, this course incorporates elements of the FAA Industry Training Standards (FITS) and the Airman Certification Standards (ACS) to empower you with the knowledge to operate the aircraft safely and effectively. You will also earn FAA WINGS Pilot Proficiency Program credits for each task you complete to the applicable standards.

ICON A5

I am an ICON Authorized Flight Instructor (IAFI) and provide training in the ICON A5 towards your initial pilot certificate, seaplane class rating (or water privileges, if sport pilot), and to meet insurance requirements for operating an ICON A5.

Other Models

I also provide insurance-required initial or recurrent training in many other models of Piper, Cirrus, and Mooney, among others. I have nearly 25 years of teaching experience and can prepare a syllabus to meet the needs of your insurance company.

I provide instruction towards your instrument rating, commercial pilot certificate, or instructor certificate. I also provide instruction in technically-advanced aircraft (TAA).

I provide instruction towards your initial pilot certificate, whether that is a private pilot, sport pilot, or recreational pilot.

According to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), there is a difference in Currency vs. Proficiency. Even if you might be legally current, we can schedule a short proficiency flight to make sure you’re confident when you have your family in the airplane!
